We're locking all orders this week for the A1 Deadline Special, so if you need to make any changes… do it now!!
If you've moved or updated your address in the last 20 days, make sure your shipping details are correct before Friday.
If you haven't received your survey due to spam or a bounce, contact us directly via Kickstarter direct message, and we'll sort it out. We've already responded to everyone who has reached out, so if you haven't heard back, send us a message.
On another note, our West Coast Crew are heading to Emerald City Comic Con in March! They won't have a table this year, but they will be there, and they'd love to meet you. Huge thank you to all you Deadenders who filled out your surveys so quickly. Most of you filled them in the first two days.
Because of that, we can now safely lock in quantities and order exactly what we need to fulfil every backer pledge, including all of the “Pick Two” tiers (did I tell you I hate variant covers? Lol!).
This is a big fugging milestone. We are moving from art files and InDesign layouts to ink and paper. Let the presses roll!
More soon as we move into the next stage. Thank you for making this happen. We did one last round of extra proofing before sending it off. We proofed over 100 pages of artwork. Three times!! With this many artists and this many files in play, it was absolutely worth the extra push before going to press.

Our team is bi-continental and semi-dyslexic. We're trying to honour both UK and American creators' different ways of spelling. You're going to see Humour and Humor in the magazine! So no need to write in and tell us!
As you can see above, the proofs look fantastic. The photos do not quite do the colours justice, but in person, the work really sings. We are feeling very good about what is about to hit paper.
*Note: There are still 8% of you who need to fill out your surveys. We want you to get the magazine, so please hurry!!

We’ve just submitted a “smoke test” on BackerKit to start the whole process of sending surveys.
For those unfamiliar with these surveys, this means about 5% of backers will receive theirs first—so you may have seen it already—with the rest going out shortly after, once we've kicked all the tires.
BackerKit does this to ensure everything delivers smoothly before surveys are blanket mailed. It’s all part of the wonderful process of staying independent.
